Terms and conditions
These terms apply to every order on buildiotbd.com, run by BuildIoT BD ("we"). By placing an order you accept them.
1. Orders
Your order is a request to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it by email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price or product detail is clearly wrong, the delivery details cannot be verified, or we suspect misuse. If we cancel a paid order we return your money.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are in Bangladeshi taka (৳). Delivery is charged separately unless shown as free. Pay by cash on delivery, bKash or Nagad as offered at checkout. An unpaid bKash or Nagad order is cancelled after about 24 hours.
3. Delivery
Delivery times and charges are on the Delivery and charges page. Times are estimates. You must give a correct address and a phone number the courier can reach, and be available to receive the parcel.
4. Returns and warranty
Damaged, dead-on-arrival and wrong items are replaced if you tell us within 3 days of delivery. We offer no other warranty. Full details are on the Returns and warranty page.
5. Using the parts safely
Our parts are for learning, prototyping and hobby or professional projects. Batteries, mains voltage, motors, heat and soldering can cause injury or fire. You are responsible for using the parts safely and for checking that a part suits your project before you buy. Product specifications can vary slightly between manufacturers.
6. Your account
Give accurate details, keep your password private and tell us if you suspect misuse. We may suspend an account that is used for fraud, abuse or fake orders.
7. Our responsibility
We are responsible for supplying the items you ordered as described. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost projects, time or profit, and our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under Bangladesh consumer law.
8. Our content
The text, photos, design and logo on this site belong to us or are used with permission. Do not copy them for commercial use without asking. Product and brand names belong to their owners.
9. Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy policy.
10. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka decide disputes. We may update these terms; the version on this page when you order applies to that order.
